such a nice number..ive stumbled upon a blog and saw that this is such a nice number to be wed on..

why didnt i think of the date before? daym :(

now partner taknak even consider the date and we are now quarreling over it

for me, that date is sgt cantik. and plus its on saturday which also falls on the first day of school holidays. week after that on 13th and 15th (wed and friday) cuti..so noicee.... :)

but...

sigh...we'll see if my art of persuading can win him over

Tunang/Wedding Prep

been bz these couple of days with works and stuffs

but without fail, every night i would spent almost 2 hours surfing and finding ideas about my engagement/wedding..hehe...excited

initially we have made booking with D*ven**, but when a lady was so kind in sharing her bad experience with them, I cringed and was shocked to the max...bila nak booking, semua boleh buat..manis betul mulut..but later when majlis dah habis, only 70% of the things that was agreed upon was given to the poor lady..the rest? hampeh..for instance, how can a bride takde her hand bouquet?..kesian dia..so, partner terus cakap suruh cancel and go for different vendors..tskkk 

tu lah nak murah sgt..@-@

so for wedding, we have decided not to opt for packages..we will try to go by items..for example, for pelamin org ni buat...for baju org lain pulak...etc etc...oklah kan drpd amek packages yang belum tentu lagi that vendor excels  dalam semua benda.so better take vendor who is specialized in that particular item that they are offering :)

so anyway, as at today, updates for tunang/kawin are as follows :-

tunang :-

as we have decided not to continue with D*ven**, we've decided to try and carik vendor lain..so, so far :-

1. berjaya book makeup dgn kak laila rohani tv3 who was responsible in making eira syazira and nurul syuhada SUPERBLY GORGEOUS on their wedding day..woot! huhu..i was soooooo elated coz i had been searching high and low for the makeup artist who did the makeup for eira syazira coz i thought she looked really sweet and gorgeous during nikah. soo, dah jumpa thru one of the B2B's blog..immediately called her and she didnt say ok right away as she needed to check her schedule and promised me to call me later. well, one day has passed after that and she didnt return the call even after i texted her after that to remind her to contact me after she has checked her diary. being the TAK SABAR as i am, hehe, i called her again today and terus she apologized coz she was bz and she checked her diary right there and then and walla, the rest is history..hehehe....suka sgt..alhamdulillah..she was friendly and nice..tak sabar for her to makeup my whole entire face and hair. fyi, rm500 is the charge and that incudes hair and accessory, makeup and transport. very reasonable..and best part is i can pay after she has done her job in making me beautiful :) -settled

2. food- masak sendiri..need to give papa rm1k and he will settle it for me..suka :) -settled

3. baju- for partner, i would buy and send his kain to dzul de classique since i heard good reviews about them. and sorta cheap too for the workmanship. so that is considered done (done as in ive thought abt it and no need to risau pasal baju dia eventho kain tak beli lagi..hehe).. for myself, still havent decided but i know that i want to buat baju sendiri coz that'll would also be my baju raya *save budget* hehe..the tailor?havent decide yet. style pun tak sure lagi. kdg2 nak buat simple je but kdg2 gediks nak buat baju cantik2 over gitew sbb it'll be baju tunang cum baju raya..huhu..tbc -to re-confirm

4. hantaran - still havent decide yet whether to DIY or to send it and let other ppl do it. have to do the costing whether DIY lagi murah or send it to other ppl..-to re-confirm

5. pelamin and khemah - pun sama..need to find vendors who can make these two items under rm1k..the pelamin, biasa2 pun takpe..just the khemah, i wanna have the transparent khemah with all the fairy lights. gediks, i know..hehe..hmm, maybe i can use D*ve*** only for these two items (kalau desperate sgt).. -to re-confirm

6. photographer / videographer - as much as i like it to be video-ed, but i know mesti nanti lari budget. sobs. so, need to find photographer yg gambar dia cantik but less than rm500. can kah? uuhukk... -to re-confirm

7. hand bouquet/kasut - kasut perlu kah? duduk dalam rumah je pun kan? what about hand bouquet? do i need one since it's only tunang, no? sigh. tbc - to re-confirm

went to pameran pengantin dkt sacc mall and have grabbed ourselves few good deals...

1. pelamin - very very very happieeee coz we've booked Mahligai Creative for both nikah and sanding. i really like their work and cant wait for them to create pelamins yg meletops for my special day..hehe..eventho a tad bit expensive for our liking, but kawin hanya sekali (that'll be my mantra until my wedding day comes..hehe)...so considered, done -settled

2. photographer/videographer - partner loves them eventho i was a  bit put off by the way their front man (front man ke) market their works. he was soooo gung-ho, ala2 'ok boleh bang'', 'oh tu ke?boleh bang..bolehhhhh'...over confident gitu. but i guess, ada ke org nak market their own company dgn bersifat pemalu dan ckp mcm ni 'oh tu ke? em tak tau la bang. boleh kotttt".."oh nak mcm tu? em, tak pernah buat la..takut pulak".. hahh? bikin stress pada client jek ckp mcm tu..hehe.. so evendo i was bummed (sebenarnye sbb tak dpt LH Media..hehe) but it was allrite..seeing their packages (2 events, photog and video, plus ada pre-wedding, out door and save the date lagi for rm3900) i was ok la..ive seen their works, quite good la..so, doa je yg terbaik..oh lupe, we have paid booking and the vendor is Maze Lensa Studio -settled

yg lain2, tak settle2 lagi esp bab makanan. have to find the perfect one..am focusing at several vendors, mcm sri payung, sri angsana...sajian dhidang dah bagi quotation but masha Allah, mahal gila...tak cukup budget :(

tomorrow nak check out this one landed property in subang, hopefully that'll turn out good. insya Allah, aminn :)

Alhamdulillah

tanggal 16.10.2011, my partner had came up to papa and asked him for my hand in marriage

papa said..YES! hehe...ALHAMDULILLAH SYUKUR :)

i am so grateful to the Almighty as many things have turned in our favour these couple of days

first up was my partner's new job. syukur, he was offered a job in proton as an engineer :)

second, we had managed to book our dewan! :) but the down side was apparently our date was booked by somebody else, a staff of the dewan it seems...although i was a bit bummed (and still is), i tried to think about it positively..my initial plan was to nikah on 21.12.12 (i like it purely because of the number yang cantik..hehe) and recep the next day which is on saturday but since this lady had successfully booked the hall on 22.12.12, i think i need to book the next day which is on sunday 23.12.12.

but everybody had a different view on this. partner wants it end of the month, older sis wants the nikah to be on saturday coz she said if we were to nikah on friday, susah coz friday kan selalu jam. but i want my nikah t o be on 21.12.12 (Friday)..saturday free and recep on 24.12.12. that wud give ample time for the videographer to edit and process my nikah video to be played on the recep itself.

soooo, to KIV this. TBC later :)

third and what i think was the most greatest rezeki and top of our list....WE HAVE BOOKED A HOUSE! our very own house..huhu..alhamdulillah..the whole thing took us less than a week,..we have accidently or without purpose stumbled upon an advert in the net about this project by mkland, and what strikes me the most is that it will be completed 2-3 months after our wedding..jussttt niceee.... :) 

so we called, went to check it out the night itself, satisfied and paid the booking fee the very next morning. what excite me the most was my partner's auntie had generously advanced the booking fee for us. alhamdulillah :)

its in damasara damai and it is all what i have dreamt and hoped for..well, maybe 70% of it coz my dream house is actually one that is landed property. but this would do :)

the one that we saw was the corner unit and also the intermediate. we chosed the intermediate of course. the corner unit, eventhough its very tempting, is not really practical for us, for we are the only one staying in our condo. so 3 rooms are enough instead of 4 like what the corner unit is offering :)

just hope that our housing loan will be approved and the terms of the agreement are more in our favour :) amin ya rabbal alaminn :)

papa and the BIL wants it to be held in april next year instead of june, like how we have planned..

partner said he is ok with it, just that he needs to discuss this with his family

if his family is ok, i'll only have 6 months to get myself into shape

wedding craze

i am soooooo crazy over this

it is what keeps me alive..(boleh gitu?)...my mind is always thinking and working and creating and finding...all my focus is on it eventhough im actually working at my actual office in my actual work

is it normal? wedding jitters i would understand, but wedding craze? adakah mcm tu?

huhu..soo excited. or is it in me that im actually destined to be a wedding planner?

dewan for reception

just wanna share our soon-to-be-place for our reception

after weeks of finding (or was it months?) we've finally came to terms and picked this dewan despite of the urge of me wanting to rent much bigger and popular dewan like Dewan Seri Siantan Putrajaya, Dewan Perdana Felda and such...

My partner and I (or should i say it was ME) have actually did a lot of research on dewans and hotels. for hotel, we've decided on a big NO-NO coz it was wayyy out of the budget..since we are the one financing our whole matrimonial thingy, then i guess we should have the final say on which dewan we will be using, no? hehe

anyways, we did go and surveyed few of the dewans. taking into consideration the prices, packages and also the location, these are our findings :-


a) Dewan Perdana Felda/Dewan Semarak -OK fine, just tell me who wouldnt want for their reception to be in dewan perdana felda?sigh..masalahnya, my partner and i need to take a day off on weekdays coz they are not operating on weekends, i was told. deposit would be RM5k..gulp..kenselll *there goes my dream..sobs*

b) Dewan Komuniti TTDI - Partner liked it so much (sbb murah.cis)..Depo is RM300 and total renting costs about RM1700..But i dont really like it coz its too small and looks a bit shabby *berlagaknye aku..huhu*..no really, the place is a bit small for my liking and not suitable for a night reception..to KIV said the Partner..(to kenselll said me..huhu)

c) The Club, Bukit Tunku - Ok, first thing that strikes me the most is that this club is between apartments and a housing development if im not mistaken...ppl who attend to our reception would definitely curse us as i can foresee that they would get lost easily if we were to choose this place..the signage is a bit confusing and you might get past it easily..but i like the place..the hall looks cosy and when we went there, there was a wedding due to be held there that night. so with the hall deco and flowers, i felt right into it. however, the Partner said it was too small for us..damn..come to think of it, it is. sobss..probably would only fit in 400 guests..another down side, our guests would also need to pay for the parking tix of RM2 of which my Partner said that it would be US who should be paying on behalf of our guests..ya kah? like that, bankrap la gua..huhu...soo, kenselllll


d) Dewan Gemilang, Felda-Honestly, I was the one who menarik my Partner into checking out this place. What attracts me the most is the wedding package..rm27 per person including catering, pelamin and ..?tu je kot..food catered by d'saji which is supposedly tasty since it also caters for felda and semarak...kan? but eldest sis told me that tak sedap food dia. wallahu a'lam..the hall is on the second floor. lift will be on operation this november, but the thought of climbing up to the second floor, alahaiiii (ye saya pemalas)...plus, this place used to be an asrama.. so its architecture and ambiance doesnt fit in for a wedding. just my two cents..so my partner and i have decided...kensell

e) Kelab Darul Ehsan - We went there for only five-ten minutes. haha. saje je check it out since its very near to my hse. asked around and found out their grand hall can only accommodate for 400-500 ppl. kenselll...

the last place was found..actually we found it nak tak nak je..dahlah the gps brought us to the longkang, huhu...but alhamdulillah, the journey was successfully paid off. found our soon to be lil heaven, a bit isolated and nyaman..ample parking space and i like it so so much :) my partner more so coz murah..hehe

 
spacius (maybe coz no meja yet), looks new, two tiers and i really really like the stage..its oval type so i think the pelamin would be just nice for everyone  to have a good look at..looking at these pics makes me more excited and giddy..hehe.. (over tau.tunang pun belum..hehe)

now we've only have to wait PATIENTLY for november to come for us to make the booking
